Maynah was a recipient of the Vice-Chancellor’s Scholarship at the University of Southern Queensland, where she completed her dual degree in the Bachelor of Arts (major in Creative & Critical Writing), and the Bachelor of Science (major in Psychology) with First Class Honours. She was also a speaker at the 2019 World Conference of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children at Vanderbilt University in the United States of America.
Utilising her background in classical ballet, contemporary and lyrical dance from the Royal Academy of Dance, and commercial dance from Dance College London, Maynah is the program co-ordinator of the Grand Autumn Festival in Springfield that earned her a place as a finalist in the Multicultural Australia Spirit of Resilience Award, a category of the 2023 7-News Young Achiever Awards in Queensland.
Maynah hopes that through her writing and productions, she will be able to share the untold stories of humanity around the world, and inspire others to be the ones to shine the light.
